Amber Hunter Spotlight

“Before I worked here, I wasn’t part of a team. Working at Puget Sound Orthopaedics has taught me to work in a team setting.” Amber is a member of our front desk team, working as a receptionist at our Tacoma clinic and as legal scheduler for Dr. Bargren and Dr. Blair.

She has worked here for just over three years and is one of the first smiles seen when walking into the Tacoma clinic. One of her favorite parts about working here is getting to meet so many different people and personalities.

On her free time, Amber is a self-proclaimed food connoisseur and shopaholic. One of her favorite places to go on vacation and to get food is Las Vegas. Hot ‘n Juicy Crawfish is her favorite restaurant there. Las Vegas is her “second home.”

She also loves shopping for clothes and, although she may not admit it, she loves it when we do our yearly uniform order. Something that most people don’t know about her is that when she was younger she was born with an extra digit on each hand.

If she could be anyone for a day, she would want to be the queen herself, Beyonce, because she is such a great entertainer.  One can only imagine Beyonce’s closet and how blissful Amber would be to step inside and see all of the clothes.

If she could be any cartoon character, she would be a My Little Pony, because they have magical powers. If she had the choice of being either a giant hamster or a tiny elephant, she would be a tiny elephant. She really likes elephants, saying they are gentle giants.
